Behind the Scenes: Breathing Life into Design — The Knoll KN Campaign

There are projects that are special because of what you create — and others that are unforgettable because of how you create them. The recent campaign we shot for the Knoll KN Collection was both.

Set inside a stunning industrial plant in Alzano, the atmosphere was charged with energy, design heritage, and the quiet hum of innovation. For four intense days, our team immersed itself in the world of Knoll, capturing not just products — but movement, emotion, and the essence of iconic design.

A Choreography of Machines and Emotion

To give the collection a sense of rhythm and presence, we brought in robotic motion systems to animate the chairs. These were no ordinary shots — every movement was calculated, every frame composed with cinematic precision. The goal was to make the chairs move like characters in a story: elegant, expressive, and alive.

It was a delicate dance between technology and design — and the result was visual poetry.

Human Touch Meets Iconic Design

Adding depth to the narrative, we collaborated with a designer who became part of the visual journey. Through a series of immersive sequences, he interacted with each piece in the collection — not as props, but as extensions of his vision. His presence grounded the story, turning a product campaign into a living experience.

The Power of a Great Team

This kind of magic doesn’t happen by chance. We were a tight, focused crew of five — working with Steadicams, sliders, RED cameras, and a toolkit built for excellence. Everyone on set was in sync. The communication was fluid. The pace was intense. And yet, the vibe remained inspiring from day one to wrap.

When you work with the right people, and the right brand, in the right place — everything aligns.

More Than a Campaign

What we created wasn’t just promotional content. It was a visual tribute to craftsmanship, innovation, and the timeless spirit of Knoll. Four days. Countless takes. One unforgettable project.

And in the end, that’s what stays with you: the feeling that you were part of something bigger — a story told not just through words, but through frames, motion, and design.
